Sunday School

Adult I Class (Church Sanctuary - Taught by Bro. Carl Hernandez)

For single and married adults, ages 25 - 49.

This class teaches Biblical principles for building good Christian homes, and how to pass on these principles to our children and grandchildren.

Out of class activities center around personal fellowship, as well as family and class fellowship whenever possible.

Adult II Class (Joy Class - Taught by Bro. Bob Taylor)

For adults ages 50 and up.

The goals of this class are to learn more about Jesus, to share what we learn with those we meet, and to have fellowship with other believers.

Outside activities include visiting new members and getting together for class socials.

College & Career Class (College & Careers Class - Taught by Mark Verceles)

* College age
* We study God's Word to learn Biblical principles and doctrines that will guide us during this important decision-making period and throughout the rest of our lives.
* Our activities include Monday night Bible studies, Friday Night Fellowships, and occasional trips to places like The Wilds.
* Come grow closer to God, get involved in His work, and fellowship with other Christian singles!

Children's Ministries

Sunday School
Nursery

* For Ages 2-3
* Taught by Sister Pat Manning.
* Class activities include singing and crafts related to the weekly Bible lesson.

Beginners Class

* For K-4 and 5 age children.
* Taught by sister Pat Bass.
* The goal of this class is to teach the message of salvation using stories from the Old and New Testaments of the King James Bible.
* Class activities involve singing songs, learning scripture, and doing crafts pertaining to the week's Bible story.

Primary Class

* For children in grades 1-3.
* Taught by Sister Emma Kimbler.
* The goal of this class is to teach children the word of God, so they will give their hearts to Jesus and grow spiritually.
* Each week involves a lesson from the Bible, a weekly Bible memory verse, activity sheets, and plenty of opportunities for questions to be asked and answered.
* Monthly out-of-class special activities are planned for the future.

Juniors Class

* For children grades 4-6.
* Taught by Sister Debora Hernandez.
* The goal of this class is to teach boys and girls that God loves them, and that He has provided a way for them to have everlasting life through His only Son, Jesus. Also, to teach them that by following God's plan for their lives as found in the Bible, they will have great success (Joshua 1:8), please God, and serve others.
* Class activities include Bible reading, scripture memorization, singing, stories, meeting new friends, serving others, missions, contests, and parties.

Children's Church

* A special church service for children ages K4-4th grade
* Taught by Bro. Gary Osborn.
* Features fun songs and activities, Bible messages, and stories.

Patch the Pirate & Pee Wee Pirate Clubs

Patch the Pirate Club (for grades 1-6)

* Taught by Brother Konrad Bodak and assisted by Sister JoEllen Bodak.
* A program of songs, Bible memorization and games for kids.
* Includes the Pee-Wee Pirate Club for K4-5 and the Patch the Pirate Club for grades 1-6.
* Meets during the Wednesday evening service at 7:00 PM.

Pee Wee Pirate Club (for grades K4-5)

* Taught by brother Sister Sara Grimes and sister Christina Burt.
* A program of songs, Bible memorization and games for kids.
* Meets during the Wednesday evening service at 7:00 PM.

Music for Patch Clubs taught by Sister Dorothy Matthews.


Men's Ministry - Men of the Word

* Men of the Word seeks to build healthy fellowship among the men of the church.
* We encourage each other to be Christian leaders in the home and in the church.
* We meet monthly for food, fellowship, and prayer.

Women's Ministry

Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.
-Proverbs 31:10

This ministry helps to encourage and enrich the women of our church by studying and applying God's Word. It acts as a place where women can fellowship with other Christian women, and serve others through various areas of ministry and outreach. We invite you to join with us as we seek to guide women to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and help them become fully devoted followers of our Lord and Savior.

Missions

* We are committed to fulfilling the Great Commission (Mark 16:15), both in our community and throughout the world.
* We currently support 17 missionary families in 15 different countries.

Music Ministries

* Our music style is "old-fashioned". We still sing the old hymns from the hymnbook.
* Our joyful, growing church choir, practices every Sunday before the service.
* Our members use their musical talents for God's glory with a variety of special music!

Nursery

* Fully equipped, secure, and staffed by the ladies of the church.
* Available for infants and toddlers up to age 3 during all regularly scheduled services.
* Head up by Sister Susan Ling and Sister JoEllen Bodak.

Teen Department

* Taught by Brother Eddie Rawls and assisted by Sister Carol Rawls.
* Our teen department seeks to minister to and educate teens toward a Christ-centered life and increased faith in God.
* Activities include challenging Sunday school lessons, monthly teen activities, fellowship, youth rallies, and summer camp at The Wilds in N.C.

Visitation and Soul Winning

*Church wide visitation is held the first Tuesday of every month. We meet at the church at 6:00 - 6:30 PM for prayer. Visitation begins at 6:30 PM.
*Our College & Career class also goes on visitation & soul winning every Saturday at 10:00 AM.
