Our Philosophy

BIBLICAL - The Bible is God's authoritative, verbally inspired Word; we hold the King James Bible as the preserved Bible for English-speaking people; everything we believe and teach comes from the Word of God.

"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works."  
2 Timothy 3:16-17

INDEPENDENT BAPTIST - We belong to no denominational organization. We believe in the autonomy of the local church (Colossians 2:8) and the priesthood of the believer (1 Peter 2:9), and we practice believer's baptism by immersion (Romans 6:4; Colossians 2:12).

SEPARATED - We are separated ecclesiastically from apostate groups such as the World Council of Churches, and we strive to be separated personally and live dedicated Christian lives based on the principles of the Bible.

"Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty."  2 Corinthians 6:17-18

SOUL WINNING - The Bible teaches that every Christian is to be a witness for Jesus Christ.

"But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth."  Acts 1:8

MISSIONARY - In fulfillment of the Great Commission, missionaries are sent to establish New Testament Churches in our nation and throughout the world. Currently we support several missionary works.

"Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen."  Matthew 28:19-20

TEACHING - We seek to teach and encourage each other as children of God.

"Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord."  Colossians 3:16
